NON-PROFIT GALAS
Grand Center 2009 Gala honoring Edward Jones - The annual fundraising gala included a cocktail party in the lobby, a brief ceremony recognizing Edward Jones, dinner in the Fox Club and a performance of the Tony Award-winning musical Phantom of the Opera.
Attire for the evening’s 300-plus guests was "Black-tie with Crimson,” which was carried throughout the event and created a fittingly haunting ambiance. To add to the spirit of Phantom, dinner was be prepared with a French flair by Fox Club Executive Chef, Stephen Proctor. Imaginative table settings with candles and floral centerpieces stocked with elegant black magic roses were used to decorate the Fox Club. |
| Grand Center 2007 Gala honoring Centene Corp – Grand Center’s largest annual fundraiser and gala included entertainment, cocktails and dinner, followed by a performance of Monty Python’s Tony Award winning musical Spamalot. The “medieval renaissance” theme was carried throughout the menu and décor. Delightful and entertaining, actors were present to charm and entertain the guests during the cocktail reception. An event fit for a king! |
Touchpoint Autism Center’s Festival of Trees Gala Ball and Auction - Held at the Sheraton Westport Lakeside Chalet, the Festival of Trees is one of the most unique and vibrant fundraising events in town. Always a memorable and fun celebration, the gala includes a cocktail party, silent auction, elegant dinner, breath-taking display of holiday trees and lively entertainment by The Smash Band. |

Carnivale
The event harkened back to carnivals of years past. Setting the eerie mood
for guests were fire performances by Pandora’s Matchbox, exotic dancers,
creepy clowns, a gypsy fortune-teller, sideshow freaks, as well as many other
fascinating participants. Performance artists mingled with the crowd while old
carnival movies were projected on the exterior walls. Art demonstrations, included
glass fusing, mask making, Raku firing and an on-site molten metal pour. |

Ice
Attendees skated to the hot sounds of the Zydeco Crawdaddy’s and the wicked
cool beats of Hot House Sessions, while watching chainsaw ice sculpting, Raku,
Molten metal pours, Fire performers, and other artist demonstrations. |
